Seller Code of Conduct & Product Compliance Guidelines
- Policy Framework: Global Merchant Requirements
- Applicability: All Third-Party Sellers
- Effective Date: June 3, 2026
- Contact Point: Merchant Compliance Operations
Section 1: Marketplace Seller Code of Conduct
TSH Store is fundamentally committed to maintaining a safe, fair, and trustworthy ecosystem for consumers, merchants, and brands alike. All registered sellers are strictly required to adhere to the core principles outlined within this Code of Conduct. Failure to fulfill these standards constitutes a material breach of contract and will result in immediate corrective actions, including the temporary suspension or permanent termination of marketplace selling privileges.
1.1 Honesty, Transparency, and Commercial Fairness
Sellers must conduct transactions with complete honesty and absolute transparency. Manipulating, exploiting, or misusing any features, promotional tools, fulfillment services, or platform systems provided by TSH Store is explicitly forbidden.
- Accurate Profile Verification: Sellers must maintain completely verified, accurate, and current operational details at all times. This includes legal entity registrations, active point-of-contact details, localized warehouse locations, and authorized banking instruments. Fraudulent or shell profiles will trigger automatic account termination.
- No Catalog or Search Manipulation: Generating duplicate product detail pages for identical unique items to falsely inflate visibility or search result placement is prohibited. Overloading search algorithms with extraneous search terms or irrelevant tagging is strictly penalized.
- Fair & Non-Deceptive Pricing: Artificially inflating logistics costs, applying deceptive handling fees, or altering product pricing after a buyer transaction has been confirmed is completely prohibited.
1.2 Customer Data Protection & Communication Standards
Sellers are granted temporary access to protected customer information solely for order fulfillment logistics. This access carries severe statutory responsibilities.
- Data Privacy and Sovereignty: Customer names, physical shipping addresses, telephone numbers, and email aliases must be stored securely and handled strictly for shipment execution. Merchant storing, exporting, or aggregating customer personal data for independent marketing lists, re-targeting, or external profiling is a direct violation of international data privacy regulations.
- Authorized Communications: All buyer-seller communication must take place natively inside the TSH Store encrypted messaging console. Communications must strictly address order logistics, tracking issues, localized delivery coordinates, or customer service inquiries. Unsolicited marketing pitches are banned.
1.3 Anti-Circumvention Policy
Any intentional attempt to divert traffic, transactions, or users away from TSH Store to an external retail channel, website, or offline point of sale is strictly forbidden. Product listings, image galleries, instructional videos, bullet points, and physical packaging inserts must not include hyperlinks, QR codes, URLs, or explicit calls-to-action encouraging consumers to purchase the product outside our native ecosystem.
1.4 Feedback and Review Integrity
Customer ratings and item reviews represent the foundation of marketplace confidence. Direct or indirect manipulation of product reviews will result in permanent merchant deactivation without recourse.
- Prohibited Review Incentives: Sellers are strictly forbidden from offering financial compensation, post-purchase refunds, gift cards, complementary items, or discounts to a customer in exchange for publishing, altering, or removing a review.
- Neutral Solicitation Only: Merchants may issue a single, completely neutral request to a buyer for product feedback. Selecting only consumers with positive support tickets or filtering out dissatisfied buyers via external messaging tools is classified as review manipulation.
- Self-Reviewing & Competitor Sabotage: Sellers may not review their own products, products of affiliated brands, or post maliciously false negative reviews on a direct competitor's item listings.
Section 2: Product Detail Page & Listing Standards
To protect consumer expectation and sustain platform professionalism, all listings must accurately represent the corresponding physical product and strictly conform to standardized catalog guidelines.
2.1 Data Precision, Naming Conventions, and Prohibited Claims
- Accurate Structural Categorization: Items must be placed within the exact correct node of the product taxonomy tree. Misclassifying an item to bypass category-specific restrictions or manipulate trending charts will trigger immediate listing suppression.
- Product Naming and Visual Presentation: Titles must be clear, concise, and structured logically to assist user with discovery, with an absolute maximum length of 200 characters. To maintain a clean UI/UX and professional store presentation, the use of promotional tags, keywords intended for search stuffing, and marketing symbols or emojis is strictly prohibited.
2.2 Code Injection and Retail Cross-Referencing
Product listing metadata must remain clean and secure. The execution or embedding of custom HTML scripts, JavaScript tags, CSS overrides, or external analytics tracking pixels within product description fields is completely prohibited. Furthermore, descriptions or visual media cannot cross-reference or make mention of alternative e-commerce platforms, third-party distribution hubs, or brick-and-mortar storefronts.
2.3 Intellectual Property (IP) and Identifier Authenticity
Sellers must possess undisputed legal authorization or clear licensing rights for every branded item, trademarked logo, copyrighted text block, or patented design they post on the platform. All listings must use authentic Global Trade Item Numbers (GTINs or UPCs) sourced directly from GS1. Fabricating, reusing, or purchasing unauthorized barcodes will result in a permanent listing block.
Section 3: Product Safety, Certification, and Restrictions
Merchants carry absolute legal liability for ensuring all items distributed via TSH Store conform perfectly to destination-market legislation, consumer product safety protocols, and health mandates.
3.1 Documented Validation & Testing
TSH Store reserves the right to audit product compliance profiles unexpectedly. Upon request, sellers must provide official Declaration of Conformity documents, safety data sheets (SDS), or laboratory testing certifications within 48 business hours. All testing must be conducted by certified, independent third-party laboratories. Providing forged, manipulated, or blacklisted safety reports will result in criminal reporting to relevant federal regulatory bodies.
3.2 Prohibited Goods Matrix
Sellers must check every single item inventory batch against the platform's prohibited goods framework prior to catalog processing. The following categories represent absolute restrictions:
- Illicit & Dangerous Weapons: Explosives, tactical firearms, military grade gear, switchblades, and unclassified hazardous biological compounds are completely banned.
- Regulated Pharmaceutical & Medical Compounds: Prescription medications, unapproved diagnostic test kits, and chemical substances controlled under public health safety laws cannot be listed.
- Age-Restricted Products: Vaporizers, electronic cigarettes, adult novelty items, and tobacco products require active platform-level age-gate configuration and specialized courier delivery methods.
Section 4: Marketplace Enforcement Protocol
Compliance tracking involves a combination of automated deep-learning algorithms, formal brand-owner infringements, and real-time consumer complaints. When a violation is validated, TSH Store will apply structural enforcement actions based on the severity of the offense:
- Target Listing Suppression: Immediate structural deactivation and masking of offending SKUs and ASINs from search pages.
- Inventory & Disbursement Freeze: Temporary sequestration of physical inventory held within platform fulfillment centers alongside a complete withholding of outstanding financial payouts to cover buyer indemnity claims.
- Complete Merchant Deactivation: Permanent revocation of merchant account credentials, banning of associated corporate entities, and permanent forfeiture of unauthorized funds.
- Judicial and Civil Referral: In situations involving systematic counterfeit networks, major public safety hazards, or organized fraud, TSH Store will transmit full data disclosures to law enforcement agencies for federal prosecution.
